Hey everyone, I was just wondering if theres any1 here who raves and is not into all the drugs, cuz i've been to a few, im not an expert or anything, but I haven't and dont plan on taking any drugs there... My two good friends (you might know Bunny Rabbit) are straightedge too and we have a ton of fun and we dont get fucked up... Is there any1 else like this out here?

i must confess, i indulge every once in awhile. but there's a TON of people on here that don't.

No your not alone. My friends and I don't do drugs either. I hink its better that way just because you remember everything. i would hate to forget some of the best nights of my life.

Yeah I totally agree.. it makes me sad when people are all like "Nice to meet you but I prolly won't remember this by tommorow" and its like.. well I wish you would remember me u no? N i just wish that drugs weren't such a big part of the scene for different reasons but partly because if I tell people I am a raver, then I usually get a negative response such as "So you do x then right" which really pisses me off

i remember people and things and events. i can tell you the name and the favorite color of everyone i met on friday. lol. it's just those that take stupid drugs like bars or are irresponsible with their substances that make the scene look bad.

well, It's not really drugs....so it's kinda sober...even though there is drinking involved...

Well no im not a pussy, like i dont rele think smoking or drinking is bad rele like i dont mind that as much as I mind the other shit... but when I tell pple im a raver and i get get asked if i do X, thats when it gets annoying... but when pple are on acid and coke and just watever can get them uber fucked up is when it gets to me/and when pple only go for that purpose (to get fucked up as possible)

While I respect what your saying, IT IS PART OF THE SCENE to do just that. Get fucked up. It has been adapted an molded to fit that. It used to be just to rebel against things, but it is just as natural to hear/see of drug use as it is to see people dancing. While we may not all agree, it's there. And if it annoys you then maybe it's not for you. You unfortunetly have been sterotyped. To most people Raver=Drug user. So, if you continue to go, people may continue to ask if you use. Don't be offended. I would just proudly say that you are sober. AND, people use for other reasons other then just to get totally fucked up. But that's another story.

man, there are tons of different people

for awhile i and a friend were going 100% sober, we had had our fun on x and whatnot years before, we took a break, and came back and started going sober, well we would take a lot of redbull and coffee and such, hahaha

nowadays i'll smoke a bit of herb and have a couple drinks, but that's it...the last time i did x was on my honeymoon with my wife almost a year ago (not at a rave), the last time before that was 1996

there are a lot of drugs, and a lot of people doing them, some doing the drugs are more responsible than others, it really all depends

anyhow, a point i suppose is, there are a lot of people that go out and don't try to trip out, they just love the music and dancing, but i think the drugs are in the scene to stay, they were there in the beginning anyhoo...

Most of the time i go out i am Sober but .... every once and a while i will blaze but the other 99% of the time i am sober.
