Seriously... In San Diego, around 2000-2001, alot of the military ravers would take alot of shit from other ravers... I'm not sure why... From a promoter standpoint, they had spare income to spend (as thier basic needs were provided)... As a partykid, these guys/gals always rocked hard all night... When they went out... They partied for real... None of that, "I'm tired let's go." shit... Hell, we'd party all night until like 6am then stand duty the next day most of the time...

If that's not hardcore... I don't know what is...

im army, and was introduced to the scene in Korea in 2004 and whats good about being in the military and raving is the acess to many, many glowsticks for glowstringing.

I was in the Marines, year was 03 and i was stationed in south CA. i was invited by a friend and his gay friend to come to a rave. AT first i thought it be weird to kick it with a gay person but it turned out to be a blast. We didnt do anything weird or whatever but gay people can really ligthen things up and set a good mood.

Raving in the military aint hard. You just had to watch out for those piss test and hope talk about ur new hobbie doesnt get around to the higher ups lol.

I just recently got out of the Marines , Raved back in the late 90's in Ohio and PA , me n my clik were all about the drugs mostly acid (liquid or gelcaps) the sounds you see and the colors you hear from the dj's in the woods was amazing ..... while I was active I stayed outa the scene , now Im gettin back in and its alil diff now, plus I live in so cal instead of the midwest, diff scene out here and just diff in general from what I remember ..... but I do know ALOT of millitary peeps that are hardcore ravers and will be till the day they die

I was in the Air Force from '00 to '05. Went to massives before i joined, took a break due to piss tests and now Im back and throwing parties to spread the joy of DnB. It was just a job to me...didnt take much from it but work ethic and landed myself a nice cushy career...
