I was just wondering, how many of you peeps & peepettes are, have been, or are joining any branch of the Military. I was in the Navy for five years stationed on the USS John C. Stennis. I actually was introduced to the scene by someone that I worked with there..........Peace

i was in the Airforce 95-99 Armament Systems(2W151), couldn't reenlist becuase i got to many tattoo's otherwise i would still be in.

well im not gonna join the military. but i had cousins that did and they were introduced to the scene that way as well, mostly when they were stationed on the east coast, but i just thought it was tight.

there's a LOT of military people partying it up in the rave scene. Most dont want people to know because they are just like many of us non-military ("civilians") , trying to escape the reality of the work week. Every military raver I met was cool as fuck

one of the best house djs i have ever personally met was stationed in germany years ago, that's where he was introduced to the whole thing =)

lol i got my ass sent away to military school......... does that count.......... didnt think so lol.

I did two tours in the Navy... I was carrier Navy, too... First tour was on the USS Constellation then I went to the reserves for a few years, then got my ass recalled to active on 9/11 where I was stationed at the Naval Hospital in SD but attached to a MEU131 out of Pendelton...

My first rave party was while on deployment (1992) while we were ported in Hong Kong!!!...

My life has never been the same since...

Since then, I'm now a dj and live performer... I produce my own music and promote parties... It's what I truly love to do... It was crazy, though while I was in... People would hear my music and be: "Hey are you a 'raver'?"... I'd be like, no... I'm a dj (and show them a picture)...
