Where do you stand on the issue?

I hear that we need immigration because the u.s population isn't spitting out enough kids so we need that constent flow of people into the u.s. It seems like it could be a probable thing, but I don't know if its true.

I honestly think we need tighter border control especially on canada's side.

The one thing that really pisses me off is that the illegal immigrants seem to want more rights. Out there protesting with their mexican flag, go back to mexico and try some of the shit there maybe fix your own country in which you are a citizen of and try to make it a better country so you wouldn't have to run from it.

Also I wish that the immigrants here would try to learn the language which is english and stop trying to force feed me spanish. I don't want learn spanish why can't I learn german or dutch or chinese, but because most of the population is mexican I'm forced to learn it, but i'm feeling rebelous right now so i'm not going to bother learning it.

they're taxing health care and the education system. they're getting schooled and taken care of for free cause they can't pay, they're not paying ANY taxes and they don't control their kids, they let them run free and those kids have other kids which is a problem, cause they don't teach that 1st gen in the united states english.

Please try fixing your own country before running from it! We've had our own share of problems, but we've fixed most of them through being patriotic and patriotic doesn't necessarily mean supporting your government it means supporting and defending the rights of the citizens of your country.

Looking into our class rooms and seeing how full they are, I don't think we have a lot of room.

i'm all for immigration. it built this country. however, those immigrants forced their children to go to school, to work hard, to speak english and fit in as best they could. they didn't accept handouts.

so, yes. when something is BRINGING THE COUNTRY DOWN, we typically don't want to let them in.

i deal with people rambling on at me in spanish every day. when i tell them i don't speak spanish, they get angry, as if, i, an american citizen, should cater to their every single fucking need.

okay...let me try to maintain calm and not sound as ignorant as some u do.

1st of all i agree that those coming into this country need to learn this country's language which is ENGLISH.... i have never met an immigrant who didnt agree on this point or that doesnt speak some english, even if its fragmented, they try!

2nd of all to say that immigrants are taking over the health or educational system without contributing is complete bullshit...if your in california then u should knwo that around 70% of this state budget comes directly from sale taxes (at least thats what i read a couple years back..will go look up later), you ignorant people do u really think immigrants dont contribute? With 12 million of them here (and i think about 6 million are in CA alone) do u really think their contribution is none existent?

shit and if u look up at various researches done by various economists including some at Harvard, undocumented workers here do not negatively affect our wages in any way..

3rd of all undocumented individuals do not qualify for any form of government assistance....they work their asses off to remain in this country while still sending money back home to their country of origin...

no one is forcing u to learn spanish.... and bo hoo for you some group of latino kids dont seem to like you...ha ha, so childish, its probably cause you havent approached them in the right manner...iono...

...kids u all need to get out into the REAL world.... shit and just so u know im tired of hearing that this "immigration" issue is just a Latino issue...there are millions of other none latino undocumented immigrants as well

What about tax dollars that go to thier hospital care, and tax dollars that are used to take care of illegal immagrants in prison? Dosent this effect our economy?

I dont care about immigrants, i just dont like how they demand more rights. They want better healthcare, schooling for their kids, etc, and there not even citizens of this country. So they should'nt even be trying to change things. If they dont like it, they can go back to thier country. Fix yours before you fuck up ours. AND NO I'M NOT RACIST.
