I need to know if I should pull the zip ties tight so they stay together very firmly, but then they end up sitting on top of each other and not flat. Would it be okay if I set it up so each one has a corner on top of the other. This means it won't be flat, but look more like propellor blades or a fan.
Secondly, where do I put the loops. Right now I have it so that the string go through one inova, then instead of going back through another inova, they sit directly on the other side of it all. So if you look it with one inova pointed up, they go through that one, then go between the two facing down. Would I be better looping through the top inova, then through the side ones? So one inova will have two strings going through it and the other two will each have one? would that balance it out? |

okk soo i just made a 3 inova and mine set like a propeller but thats how i personally liked it a lil more rather than being perfectly flat but mess around with it both ways and see what is most comfortable for you.......pull the zipties tight because when you go to throw it into some new tricks it wills stay tight n easy to spin....i usually use a rubber band to help as well....as for the string parts there should only be two pieces of string both tied into a loops....as for how to string it ill have to post some pictures of mine up so you can see cuz i cant explain it right now but GL the 3 inova orbit is a big momma but alotta fun to play with....the pictures i posted up of me orbiting was with a 3 inova

Alright, so I'll propeller it then. I'll wait on those pictures to see where you put the strings. Have you noticed that if the strings are too long, then sometimes they get a bit out of control while winding and unwinding? Or is it just that my orbit was way off balance? And yea it feels like twice as heavy as when it was just 2 inovas. And the reason I didn't add a forth inova was because I wear jeans to most raves and wasn't gonna carry that in my pocket. Plus 4 inovas is more common since it's easier to make. Third I'm saving to buy more inovas for my gloves. Okay so I'm still waiting to find out how you put the loops through. I've got the propeller down but that's like uber-easy. Last edited by Derly; 17.5.2008 at 7:08 pm. Reason: automerged doublepost |

EDIT: Whoo I figured out how to keep it balanced. I got both loops running through one of the inovas. Then they go through the zip tie directly across from them. It sits balanced as perfect as I could ask for.
My next question is how long are everyone's loops? Right now each loop is about fingertip to a couple inches from my elbow. So yea the string itself is twice that lenght. |

niice im glad you got it all figured out sorry i was laggin on those pics ive been a pretty busy latly but the length is a personal preferance like for instance my friend likes his strings about 2 inchs longer than me on both sides probably because his arms are a lil longer than mine but personally i like it kinda short so i can throw it many differant ways and the more you use it the more the strings where and it all starts to break in really nice. enjoy playin with the orbit lemme kno how it goes
