well the easy leds are inovas to modify. just pop off the cover to wear the batterys are showing. and simpily pull out the led light bulb. and you can get different color bulbs at radioshack but need to be 5m. and if you cant figure it out go to youtube and just search how to modify inovas and there are some vids.

I'm thinking of buying the 7 color microlight just for the LED inside it. Stick it in my inova.

so far that i seen all the mutli bulb somes have the 3 little prong things. how do you hook those up when there are only two for the inovas? like two of the wires in one hole?

Yea I noticed that too. So I figure either that thing has 2 prongs for the LED or it's got more, either way I end up with a new light. However, my hunch comes from the fact that they sell a 7 color inova. I think they just jacked the LED.

What I meant was the 7 color inova at liquidemotions.com it looks like they just plucked an led from the 7 color microlight.

i'm not sure what exactly you're referring to when you guys say 7 color photon/micro/etc. but i'm guessing you mean it changes between 7 colors as it's turned on?
could be a small control chip that adjusts the voltage running to the LED so it changes color, hopefully that helps. |

Just a side note, has anyone taken the time to look close at their leds and look inside them. Like the actual diode itself. Different colors have different shapes/cutouts. It's kinda nice to know if you're like me and carry extra led's to the raves. I know what colors I'm changing before i put them in the microlights. |

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Different chemicals and different power settings allow for different colours - a chip on board the device - not the LED - regulates this. Last edited by pico; 24.5.2008 at 10:27 am. Reason: typo |

The LED has to have something to do with it or else why the hell do I buy different LED's at Radioshack? Different chemicals makes sense, goes back to high school chemistry. I should ask my dad about all this, he'd know, and he'd probably tell me where to buy some dank LED's.
