I come to RL for some topics cause I feel pretty much brain dead right now and too silly to think!

For my history class we have to choose an event that occurred between 1865 and 1965 that you feel still, in some way affects the United State today. The first paragraph on what you're writing about is due on Monday so i just need a few ideas and that would be great.

I like the great depression. For one project in high school we even had to go find someone old enough to have lived through the depression and still remember it. Seriously go hit up the community center and find someone old enough to have been alive at the time, and experience it, and interpret it. They can just have been a baby. It's very fucking interesting, and I did a video interview.

The Great Depression is good but honestly, in terms of today's importance, I would write about the New Deal and how it has slowly been unraveled over time.

How about the Civil rights movement, who has great leaders such as Martin author King Jr, Malcolm X, and Rosa Parks?

i go to Redwood High....i just wrote mine on the Vietnam war and how it permanently changed America's views on war
