you need to find someone to make and paint UV reactive/psychedelic styled backdrops, use flouro colored yarn to put up for ceiling deco, use DayGlo fabric for flags, and projectors for visuals. i helped with some decorations for a goa party i went to and saw these things, except for the projector. but if youre on a low budget, just get some people to help make some flourodelic backdrops and art.
also, make sure if you have an indoors venue, dont block fire doors and such to keep people from sneaking in, that was a problem at the party i went to because it got so hot inside that i almost passed out due to the mass amount of heat from people, hire someone to watch the door if youre changing an entrance fee instead of risking peoples safety. other than that i wish you the best of luck, we need more goa events happening in the scene. |

heh well it's not going to be a venue at all... haha although i do agree that there aren't enough Goa parties.. even the mountain parties i've been to always skimp on goa and psytrance.
but yea its just going to be a themed tent for Return. not even hosting a DJ Booth or anything but just something cool that my friends can come chill in if they want(as well as anyone else who looks interested hah)... a couple other people i know want to do them too. considering its in may itll give me plenty of time to get it together and i think itll be a lot of fun. great ideas though. can i get a lot of those materials at everyday craft stores? cause if so i'm down. as for the psychedelic backdrop, i could draw that myself.. i'm a fairly good artist and i do a lot of psychedelic and surreal drawings. does crayola or someone manufacture blacklight/glow in the dark markers... or anything like that? |

the back drops that i saw were made out of regular art canvas, you just need to get some canvas and find some black paint and other regular colors for outlines and shapes, and flourescent paint that will light up under a blacklight.[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
all it takes is your imagination and some creativity! [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] here are backdrops: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] |
