First Rave

Hello RL, this is my first post here. After being fascinated by the rave culture for years now, I will be going to my first one (Stargasm, SF Bay Area). This may sound like a dumb question, but I was just wondering if any of the veterans had any tips for me? I'm aware of the basics of hydration and dressing for a hot enviroment, but anything that you think might be helpful or something you wish someone had told you before you went the first time would be much appreciated.

Nah, I am just playing. But you do realize that you are entering the lifestyle of being an insomniac for the rest of your life.

My first rave was in 1993, and I still can't get a regular night of sleep to this day..... But it wasx so worth it.

Main thing i think a lot of people forget are the basic's of PLUR, seriously so many people disrespect me/my girlfriend when we'de go. and if you dont know, PLUR = peace, love, unity, respect. dont rave to pick up chicks/guys, gotta respect the fellow ravers! go for the music and just have a fucking blast dance til your feet hurt and meeting people with a smile is best! wear comfortable shoes! (duh) and bring plenty of UV reactive shit + lights

and again have fun! if soem pricks arent being very plur fuck em, go fidn people who are and enjoy!

And just out of curiousity, if I were to be trying to bring my glass pipe (which I of course only smoke legal tobacco out of), what might be the best way of doing so? Funny enough, the foreign tobacco I buy has a greenish look to it, so that might need to be smuggled as well. So assuming I get bag checked and patted down...tips?

I wouldn't bring a piece. I would just crotch the herb and bring some wraps...

But seriously...yeah I figured the piece wasn't a good idea, I just hate joints and love glass pipes. You and mdma convinced me however, so crotched weed it is.

Oh I'm excited... don't let my plain colored text fool you. I've been looking forward to this for years actually, It's a shame I haven't gone sooner. Not too sure what I'll be wearing, but I'll let ya know when I know.
