Finding raves

Hey, I was wondering how to find raves? I'm kinda new to all this, and the Baltimore-DC area isn't very active on this site. So, I was wondering how you all go about finding raves?

I'm told that myspace helps.

yea myspace allways a good way u just gota first find out who is your local prodoctions compays then find there myspace there u can get flyers for your local area there hostion i use myspace way more then here i just repost what i find in the houston area here to let everyone here know to since it looks like most in houston seen dont go here just the new ones to the seen everyone else use myspace.

So, uh, on myspace, what should I search for? Because I've found that a lot of the clubs in the DC/Baltimore area have NOTHING for Trance music.

i have the same problem here in el paso. and although the rave scene is kinda at its peak here, it still sucks.... and well its actually across the border in juarez, not here. last weekend Infected mushroom was there and this weekend sanders and deadmau5 are coming. and although the music is good, the people there are a bunch of kids... i mean no problem with that, its just sad seeing 13-14-15 year olds rollin..i'm lookin for something more underground around this area....got any info???

Look around the site before asking questions. It is ridiculously easy to find information. There is a whole section of pages for specific places. It just takes a little bit of time to find it. Only ask questions AFTER you have truly try to find it yourselves...

I did look around, and there isn't much that I'm interested in.

Also, I'm not asking people to find stuff FOR me. I'm asking them how they find stuff, so I can use the same methods. While this is a great site, the DC-Baltimore area isn't exactly top-quality raving material, from what I've seen.

well im really not sure as i found the first crew on myspace from a flyer after showing up to one. then fround the rest on there top friends list. other then that i use this but most of the ones i seen here i found allready or im the one that found it since i been here. so if ya do find something post it for others to find. i post every flyer i find that not posted up just so everyone knows even if im not going to show up.

I have always found that going to music stores especially record stores that you can find many flyer's on upcoming raves. Also, go out to the clubs in your area and you will likely find people who know of where to party.

As far as looking online, it has proved to be the most difficult way of getting new information for me besides of course forums like this.

Once you find one, you most likely find more.

go tto *************. it has all the raves for the DC/MD/VA area. it pretty outstanding and sometimes you can get into them for free by e-mailing the poster. District Ignition is also a good spot.

Google: new rave order you may find it there. alot of peeps list there underground stuff just last mintue thou & sometimes you have to know the person to get the address but it's worth a try!

I just found one this past weekend in NH was TOTALLY AWESOME!!! visual screen bomb fire tent set up 7 diff. dj's!
