I most certainly don't. Although, I do enjoy rolling...i'm usually at the parties sober. I wouldn't count being on only a quarter of a pill rolled out.

Heh, these kind of questions are like when people tell smokers "you know smoking is bad for you..."
Well, Honestly, no I don't need drugs to have fun. Actually I began raving in 1999 and was a sober raver, last saturday was the first time I have ever been on anything before (MDMA) at a rave, and I have to admit, it just makes everything more amazing. It, in my opinion is no different then going to a bar/club and drinking or not drinking. Me personally I like to drink when I got to a bar or a club, but I have gone without drinking. Anyway, I completely support sober ravers, I was one for 7 years, but my personal view is that in the rave culture, MDMA plays a good part in it, I believed that ever since I fell in love with electronica and the culture itself. I have never condemned anyone for dropping e, while I was sober, and I knew that one day I would do it as well because I wanted to get the full effect of the culture. I use to think I couldn't love the rave culture any more than I did, but after dropping, I guess it opened my eyes more, made me understand the culture more, and i found a higher love for it. Unless you come to respect cultures, you will never understand them. MDMA in the rave culture is to me no different than peyote is to many native american cultures. I always felt like the rave was my personal church, the dj was the preacher, the music was the words of god... and as a taoist, I feel that MDMA brought me closer to the Tao... Anyway, that's my two cents... ![]() |
