I have a problem
I cant socialize for ex at like house parties or just straight up socializing because most of the time when i socialize...its like BS talk unless they are talking about something fun or dangerous i dont want to be in the conversation because i dont want to fake it i can only function in dangerous adventures/activites, chilling with close homies, , or raves where im ACTUALLY partying But yeah does this mean parties are not meant for me and i should stay away or im not normal....... just wondering becacuse usually at all the parties i used to go to... i either stay sober and become really BORED or wear a banana thong and run around or just get FUCKED UPPPPPPP and just want to go to sleep in my car and fuck the party or its just shitty parties ive been going to HELP! |

I don't really like house parties that much either. It mostly depends on the crowd thats there.

I doubt there is anything wrong with you. Sometimes the conversations that go down at house parties are kind of lame. But you can't knock house parties. I have been to quite a few house parties that bang more than a rave. I'm talking DJ's and the whole nine yards. Then I have been to house parties that are small that still bang. When I have a house party, I might not have decks out but the music is still bumpin'. Don't go to random house parties. Go to house parties where you know people. Then you shouldn't have any problems. But at random house parties you get to meet new awesome people that's why I like them. Or stick to the raves. Raves are jolly too. I like raves because sometimes after a long week of work I just want to go move, sweat, and meet new people all at the same time.

I'm not a huge fan of house parties unless I know at least 3/4 of the people well.
And even then I am not that big of a fan. Unless the party is super cool. I like really partying all night not just standing around talking to boring drunk people who pass out early. |

Later that night at another party I hear the main music being played is EDM. I got up toward a group of people that looked like regulars at the house, and asked, "So who listens to techno around here?" He told me that they all like it, and again I got the lights out and showed some moves, quickly put them away before attracting too much attention. One of the hosts told me he was going to see Tiesto very soon. And some other people told me they were at ETD Love, which I also attended. Basically I think of it as putting out a flag for other ravers to see. At a techno party on campus there were a ton of kids just dancing to techno wearing free glowsticks. Well I had my lights of course, and was the only one there with lights. I was just kickin it, watching out for friends rolling around a bunch of drunk and sober kids on campus, because I wasn't rolling too hard. I saw a guy with flashing led glowsticks, which were a change from all the kids doing figure 8's with bracelet glowsticks. I didn't even bother to flash my lights at him, instead just flashed my kandi when he looked over at me. |
