ok i am planning on buying a rebel xt but i do not know what is the difference between the black one and the silver one and it would be of help if someone coudl advise me

Shit that's funny. But wrong kind of Rebel. Silver and black Canon (one n) Rebel XT cameras are the same, just different colors. The Rebel is an outstanding camera and would recommend getting one if you're really serious about photography. I think it shoots 3-4 frames per second and is the most lightweight camera of its class. There's a huge selection of lenses available for the Rebel body as well. I'll be setting up a wedding photography biz by next summer. I shoot with a Canon 20D. Woot!

Oh yeah. Get the black one to look more professional!
