This member is the original thread starter. Default alcohol & raves

this has been one of the main reasons it seems that cops are able to bust raves now and days, rubix was a very good example of that...

Personally I don't know when it seemed ok for raves to serve alcohol, but I think it is lame... unless it is someplace like the alexandria that actually has a bar area and a bouncer to check IDs you just cannot serve alcohol at a rave, it is like a death wish...

So please, to all the production groups out there, please keep the alcohol out, not only is it busting a lot of raves up, but I feel it is hurting our culture, and all that just for making a few extra bucks.

keep the alcohol out of the raves, if you insist on having it, make sure you have the licenses and do it right, hell it is not worth the risk, in the end you usually lose, a couple of grand at that, not to mention the reputation...

anyway, that's all i wanted to say...

i disagree, i've gone to plenty of parties that went all night without incident, and were serving all night long

i enjoy it when a place has a quality beer that i can buy after dancing for a few hours

as far as destroying the culture, i guess man, but not everyone wants to roll all night or be in a k-hole, nothing wrong with having a few drinks imo

I know, i'm just saying that if your doing it, then do it right... the reason rubix was shut down was because they weren't doing it right... hell toy box was serving alcohol, but they did it right, and no problems... so if your going to do it, do it right...

anyway, natefrogg, your one of the guys on here I hope I get to meet with sometime soon, and maybe we can sit down and chat, because you seem like a respectable guy

Achohol violations believe it or not will get a party busted way faster than drugs.

haha, i'm not saying that all raves that got busted was because of alcohol, I am just saying that it seems to be a growing reason... I dunno, I guess I prefer a non-alcoholic rave, if I wanted alcohol, I would go to a bar or a club

I know and I did not say that. Just people choose to over look or jump to conclusions about why parties got busted. Well here is the reason this one got busted for them to see.

If you looking to make a few extra bucks, just buy a fuck ton of water and charge like 2-3 bucks. Then set it up so you can get it to the people as quick as possible. Mostly because people hate having to wait forever on water specailly when they are thristy as fuck!
