A newbies veiw

this is what my friend wrote about raving.
I took him to his first rave EDC 05 and he's been to 7-8 since then


In all the raves I've been too, since EDC of last year, this has been the only one where the only statement said the entire night was "Happy New Year" we were one, in body and mind and soul of the music that beat in our chest we were one, and for that I continue to thank my 'family' and for that I continue to thank the scene that I myself am slowly growing with.

Bringing against the rail and listening to the music and feeling the bodies sway against each other only makes one think, this is it, this is the cure to most of the problems, listening to ravers give speeches on equillbreme is truely a sight, I love this, I love that, personlly at a Rave I love isnt overrated that shit is said and true cuz if one falls, dozens will spring to the occasion and make everything alright.

So to the scene, thank you, to my brothers, thank you, and to me, yes to me thank you for letting go of the BS for another night and focusing on whats infront of me, beautiful people, beautiful music, and time being spent well...

wow, well my apologies then, when i read it my jadedness kicked in and was like, "duder, this guy's gotta' be rollin' balls every single time he went out" but i stand corrected, that's pretty dope actually =)

Jaded Raver (in my opinion)- are losers...cept for Natefrogg hes chill but all of them are bitches who bitch about the scene being dead but dont do anything about making it "better"- ViVi

IF you looked up Jaded Raver this is what you would get- An "old school raver" who has been in the scene many years, belives that Raves are not what they used to be and are usually into Jungle/Drum 'n Bass.

Well you don't have to get high off anything at your first rave to realize that raving is a unity of people wanting to express the love for the music. As well as sharing the comaraderie and respect for one another, in which we share in our scene.

Raving is happiness.
