5 Points .. Better than "PLUR"

I was watching Gangland and they were talking about the Latin Kings, a gang from Chicago. The Latin Kings follow something similar to "PLUR" called the 5 Points .. one for each of the crown tips.

Knowledge.
Honesty.
Respect.
Unity.
Love.

I think it better than PLUR. If you have all of the 5 points, the peace will come naturally.

The ironic pat about the Latin Kings is.. they wore black and yellow "kandi". LOL.

no.. now i'm not sure when beaded jewelery was first used in the rave scene but i'm sure the latin kings came first.

they are pretty hardcore though. gangs are pretty cool. i think some of what they do is justified. i don't like when they hurt/rob/kill innocent people. they run like mini governments.

At one point candy was actually used by dealers to be able to blend in.

I saw this whole documentary and like detective investigation thing on the latin kings. They once did stand for all of that. But what spawned from them HELL NO.

the 5 pts are only valid amongst themselves and automatically become worthless and non-existent with betrayal by one of their own. I saw the stories on what they did and do to their own people.

yea, i know that about kandi. the original points are what i think are cool. if everyone followed that in the scene, it'd be great. most gangs usually start out good... and then once they get big/gain power ... egos get involved and stuff. plus generations change.. and sometimes they fuck it up.

yeah the latin kings brutally kil their own, but yeah they're not just in chicago. i have met chapters of that gang in LA.
