I have never seen that here in Atlanta. Sometimes the promoter hands out glowsticks at the door, but thats only once and a while.

Usually I setup a table or a small booth with LEDs EL Wire and Glowsticks.

Also clothes and fur. I have a pretty fun time.

Are there some pretty big events there?
