Raver Rebirth

Hello all, I used to go to alot of parties around the turn of the century but grew aand moved away from it all. I fell in love with raves when I was 16 (1999) and I wen tto alot of awesome parties here in NC, I also met alot of interesting people and made alot of cool friends. But things happen and what seemed like all of a sudden there weren't any more parties to go to and the ones that were going on were being raided and alot of kids were getting busted. I also changed, I met a girl and fell in love with her, we had a few kids and moved to Florida and I lost touch with all my club friends and raves. Just recently I moved back to NC and have gotten a bit nostalgic for the good ol' days of all night parties and electronic music, although the music was one thing that never really left me, and I have been looking for some events going on in my area but have come up with nothing. A few days ago Emerge NC took pass but it was over a 2 hour ride which I thought to be a bit much. Although I am staying hopefully that I will uncover the Charlotte underground once again just as I had alll those years ago. I have even been entertaining the thought of possibly putting something together myself. If anyone has any advice or knowledge to share about this I would be most interested to here from you.
