I love to dance

That pretty much sums it up. I'm a 21 year old male living in Los Angeles (going to school at USC) and from San Diego. I never tried rollin' until 2nd year of college and have loved it. Went to Australia and did a bunch of it there (they just don't have other stuff so that ends up being their drug of choice) and just in general love rollin' when I got a crazy venue with good music. Probably dropped X around 20x in my life but only 2 of them have been at good raves (Together As One and some other LA New Year's Eve thing that I don't remember the name of).

I'm a smart guy. In Civil Engineering at a school where the CE department is top 10 in the nation. I'm passing classes but when I work hard I need to party hard! It's kinda hard to find people who are high-energy when it comes to dancing and like to dance hard at raves like I do so usually when I'm with a group of friends I go off and do my own thing by myself (ie dance) hard for a couple of hours and then meet up with everyone later. Don't need anyone holding my back, the only people who I want coming with me to dance their asses off are people who can actually hang, ya know?

Anyway I've been looking for a good (big) venue to go to during this year but I'm just starting to *really* get into this culture so the only ones I know of off the top of my head are Together As One and Monster Massive, both over 6 months away...

Anyway I'm glad as hell to see that there is a resource like this out there for people like us. Look forward to having some constructive convo here.

Yeah Electric Daisy looks pretty good. It'd be my first time going to it but out of curiosity some of the pics I saw of it looked like the lights for the light show kept the crowd pretty well-lit. I don't like that. Although it may have just been that the camera man took pics during the split-seconds that the lights hit the crowd so you could actually see the crowd (instead of a black abyss). Any thoughts on this? I don't like it when the crowd is very well-lit, but I do like a trippy light show.

Also it starts at 6 PM? Shit I wouldn't show up to that thing til like 10 PM or something. Last question: it didn't look like there was much room to dance in the crowd... guess I'll have to stay back a bit where there's room or what?

Either way I'm happy it's at the Coliseum. It's a 10 minute walk from my apartment (I'm a student at USC) that gives you time before and after the event to chill.
