Hi. I want to RAVE!

Hey all. 20yo kid from east coast usa.
I've been enjoying trance/techno for a while but never thought of going to a rave until now.
I feel a bit lost about this whole rave culture. Help?

Here's what I'm confused about..

There's a rave tomorrow night I'm considering going to (at God's Basement in Philly), and I'm still not sure how this whole thing works.
Tickets. Do I just get one once I'm there? And as long as I'm there before it starts, I can be sure I'll get in?
And, is there any special "dress code" i should know about before going to a rave?

Is there anything else I should know about before going to my first rave?

1. Gods Basement is the shit
2. You just pay at the door...and dont really worry about time just make sure you make it and bring good vibes
3. no dress code unless they say it on the flyer but i havnt seen one yet with a specific dress code

other then that just have fun dont start problems and everything will be alright...I PROMISE!

indeed. you don't wanna end up like this one kid who basically tried to beat up everyone who was trying to calm him down

and if you're going tomorrow night, i'd suggest wearing something green, since it's st. paddy's day themed & you'll save $5

oh yea, if you're planning on doing some kind of drugs at the rave, there's lots & lots of undercover cops around lately & some narcs, so watch what your doing

tomorrow, it's $20 unless you wear green/st. paddy's day stuff, then it's $15, and it doesnt matter what time you get there

No, no trippin this time. I'm driving there from NJ, so that'd be a horrible idea.
But I'm definitely looking forward to it when i'm not behind the wheel.
