Hi all! I'm totally new!

Hi all. I've never been to a rave... no correction, I've been to anime convention raves, however, it never seems to feel like the same thing. I've loved techno, trance, dance, etc. since I was in the womb music my whole life but didn't have a friend who wanted to hang out or take me to a rave that didn't have all the lights one. My hunger to get to one has been kinda boiling over withing the recent years, and I've been absolutely dying to go. The desperation is scary. Does this make me a total loser?

Right now, I'm hoping to get to know people in both Florida (Palm Bay, Melbourne, Orlando, Cocoa, Meritt Island, and Daytona Area) and New York (NYC and Brooklyn) into the scene and can tell me things. Hearing is better than nothing at all. T.T
