Well I figured it was time to say hey to everyone on here. My name is Michael although a most people seem to call me Shadow. I haven't been to a rave for about 8 years or more unfortunately. Lots of stuff keeping me from going like lack of fundage and work.
I hope to be able to get to a couple sometime soon but I don't really have a raving buddy anymore. The person I used to go every weekend with (or it seemed like it) is now married and has a kid (EEK!). I'm kinda shy in large crowds, but I miss the music and the lights and the energy.

Just wanted to say thanks again guys. While I'm still kinda nervous about going to a party again since I'm going to be older than every friggin person there (I started raving when I was 30), I did finally find a party that I don't think I can miss here. Boys VS Girls in September. Ever since I saw DJ Polywog in the movie Groove I've wanted to see her spin and now I get my chance!! I'm friggin stoked as hell and if I have to go alone....well I don't wanna miss Polywog so I guess I'll either drag someone with me or just go and enjoy the groove myself.

The lineup looks pretty awesome and it's a small party as well. Looks like I'm going back to dancin my ass off all night long!
