Hi all.

I'm a 32 year old Brit, emigrated to the US (LA), for the dreaded work thing back in February.

I've now gotten my feet underneath me, and am looking to go out partying again - trouble is - I can't seem find what I'm looking for in this town. Trance is my Kryptonite - get thee behind me, Satan.



I started going to Lost in London, back in '94 - and am very into :

Detroit style techno : Mills, May, Atkins, Clarke, Surgeon, Hawtin, Simms
Electro : Underground Resistance, Radioactive Man, Jeckle & Hyde
House : Green Velvet, Yoshi Toshi recordings, FFR - anything chicagoey - not adversed to a little bit o disco.
Ghettotech : DJ Assault... Come on - how can you not?
Hip Hop : The more political or odder end of the scene - Mr Lif, Kool Keith, Ugly Duckling.

Where'd u live in Brit? I lived with my sister in Cambridge while she went 2 school their, parties are alot different their .
People here seem to have an obsession with either acting really tough or being all cuddly,
Im knew to ravelinks cause im really tired of going to parties with those kind of people, trying to find some middle ground.
Im in LA area
