IL/WI stateline area have ANY action?

Hi there, everybody. I'm new to this board and was wondering if anyone knows if anything ever happens in the IL/WI stateline area, or if there is even more than a handful of ravers in this area. It is a bit of a drive to Chicago, and I'm not from this area really, so going to Chicago is a bit confusing to me. I live in the 3rd largest city in IL (which they are SO proud of ), but I can never seem to find anything fun going on, and I've met very few people that know anything about rave at all. I'd love to hear from you if you know anything, or live in the area and want to talk.

We do a nite in Kenosha about once a month (next one is dec 17th)
called PowerPlant
Dec 17th we have Angelist from Chicago
D:On from Milwaukee
myself, djnr8 from Kenosha
and headstruck vs track selector from Milwaukee & stevens point, respectively
no cover, 21+ it's mainly always breakbeats & progressive

But Rockford's pretty far west of here--not sure what the mileage is from Rockford to Stevens Point, WI. . . but After+math is this weekend

I'm glad to hear that there are a few of you in this area. I'll actually be moving up to WI soon, but I'll still be in college in the stateline area (planiing on going to one in Waukesha). I'd love to go one on the 17th (day before my b-day; great present!), but I prolly won't get to (getting everything packed to move and all X_X). But anyway, its nice to know that some of you are friendly enough to talk to me; I posted this petition I found to allow raving again and got crabbed at by a bunch of people. Apperently they'd already seen it, but how was I supposed to know that ? *lol* I thought ravers were supposed to be friendly! Oh well, no skin off my nose, I suppose.

there are always parties around that area. durring the spring thru fall months check out [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. The Chilluminati love to party out doors, and this year (2006) is going to be huge.

yeah fall is especially good times, i had a tough time deciding between planetrock (see ads in midwest calendar) and Tiesto live at the riviara (chicago) last nite (23rd).

i had not seen tiesto yet, so i went with that one- stiff ticket, but well worth it for me. had a good crowd which alwayz makes the show jus that much better.


edit: btw BBB, love the ad on ur site for powerplant "no cover, no dress code, and cheap drinks!"
