Visiting San Diego 2/15,16,17

I will be visiting San Diego the weekend of February 15th, 16th and 17th and wanted to know if there are going to be any big or good parties going on that weekend? I'm coming from Brooklyn, NY and have never been to a west coast event.

There's a day-party at the J St. Marina on the 16th, first day party of the year if I'm not mistaken.
