I went to my first rave at UCSD in 99. IT was agrewat show with 6 rooms Donald Glaude and THomas Michel played and it was a blast.

Hmmm that party must have been "Movement" thrown at the PRice Center @ UcSD? Or maybe its a different one, I went to MOvement, got hassled bigtime by campus security because I was smoking a bowl with some friends there . Party was awesome, the arena was trashed and I heard lots of cars got vandalized damn those were teh dayz

freaky tiki is there on 28 firday in porter's pub playing all kinds of trance ,house & progressive. i went for a alice and wonderland party it was a pretty good spot depending on what your looking for it is on campus so it's not that hardcore of a rave but fun they had star war's 3 playing when it came out one time check it out they throw partys all the time when school starts.

yeah.. glaude was there and from what I read on the msg boards, security was a joke.. people were in and out all night, slanging E right infrnot of the guards so its a good spot to throw down parties, not that big of a venue but its all good. As long as there's rm to dance thats all I care

I assure you that no one was selling E anywhere inside that pub. That would endanger the school as well as the student's throwing the party.

I was happy that they were relaxed and chill. As long as no one is disruptive everyone is cool. I thought the Glaude party was one of the best I have been to. It's so awesome to party with a small group of HOUSE heads. I can't wait for Farina.

by the way, DVC is the same crew that threw Movement back in the day on UCSD campus. DVC still throws sick parties. Next one is this friday, a Halloween costume party with Mark Farina and more.

I made an account just to reply to this, I am a student at UCSD, and anyone who says that this is a lame school is, well, right ha, but that makes it an even more chill place to be a deliquent cause no one suspects it. Last month security was a joke, i had a friend who got several drinking wristbands from the security by flashing his ID and handed them out. The venue, named porter's pub, consists of 2 rooms plus an outside area that has fenses enclosing that are solid colored so no cops can creep, and yes as someone said earlier, there are "in's and out's". I can't vouch for the party on the 28th though, cause i know it is substantially more popular, so dunno how security is going to be acting then. Anyway, i live 1/4 of a mile from the rave if anyone wants to kick it before/during/after email me at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] . PEACE.
