Sober or Doper?

I see alot of talk about how good the dope was...

Their anyone here that has all the fun without all the dope?
In my opinion the dope talk should be left alone.
But who am I to tell any new skool junkies what to do =/

I party sober. The drug talk here got pretty bad back in the late '90s too, some narqs got a hold of some of the old board members through meet ups and shit. A lot of cops scan these boards to see what's up so I would just think about that.

I do admit that I have done my share of controlled substances in my past but I feel great going out sober.

I like partying sober way better. I can only imagine what I looked like to others being all messed up like that. I can still be on a mission at a party, but I'm also more aware of what is really going on around me. I can still sit down and close my eyes and just feel the vibe. The last party I went to I felt like I was rolling because the music was really good, and all I drank was an overpriced large bottle of pelligrino italian sparkling mineral water. MMMM. It was yum. Now it's way early on Sunday and I gotta run and cook bacon as volunteer work (no not for court silly, because I want to).

At Tiesto InConcert, I just got so high off the music. I was so happy and dancing crazy and it f elt like I was rolling. I think sometimes if you let yourself go and you're in the right environment you can kinda achieve that "feels like I'm rolling" feeling which is great because all I drank was some vitamin water, compliments of Kori

i got to military school so sober during the year exept for shrooms, and cid. i get fucked up over summer. at tao will be the frist time i rolled since nocturnal wonderland. i just want to get my shit done in school and get into collage, then party more.

C'mon now, talking about your drug use on a public message board is pretty weak. Go read a book or something.
Not to be a jerk, but how do you or your scene benefit when you make it known you "roll", or want to "roll", or went to a house party where 40 other kids were "rolling"?
When this website/ message board first started up, many moons ago, it was a great place to meet people, find out about parties, network etc...
I know there's alot of younger people on this board. I was a younger person on this board once.
You're growing, learning, experimenting, experiencing...You're excited to have found this wonderful music, and you're so happy to meet and make all these new friends.
Who wouldn't be?
I was, and still am!
But, wake up. If you really dig this thing you're into, wouldn't you want to protect it, help nurture it, keep it going in a safe and healthy way?
If you're on here advertising your drug habits, how many pills you took or are planning to take on any given weekend, how fucked up you were candy flipping at the party last night, then you are definately doing your part to uphold the "raver" stereotype and help destroy your scene.
And you're just giving "the cops", "the govornment", "big brother" etc, more reasons to keep a watchful eye on public forums like this, and more reasons to try to prevent us all from enjoying the music we love in the settings we prefer to enjoy it in.
Yes, Im a grumpy old fart.
But I've been there, and I only say this because I care.

Ive partied sober too!! There fun. You run around talking to the E tarded kids and hooking people up with light shows. I Went with my friend that was rollin his ass off and didnt want to leave, I had to physically wrestle him out of the party lol. It was 4AM and I wanted to go home. Sober partys arnt bad, im going to party sober this weekend, dance and give light shows. I got some photons and steped up my light show game up a step!
