POLICE BRUTALITY ON "LEGAL" RAVE

I am writing you to get the word out about use of unneccessary force to end an outdoor music event that occured this weekend just outside of Spanish Fork, UT.

The promotors of the Versus II party had obtained all the required permits to hold an outdoor music event the night of August 20. Shortly into the evening, a mass of armed officers in camoflouge ransacked the party.

When the promoter of the event provided the officers with the neccessary permits, the officers consficated the permits. They proceded onto the stage and held a gun to the DJ and told him to shut off the music. Several young adults were "beat up." One girl was hit in the head with the end of a gun.

The crowd was more than compliant, however, the officers proceeded with force. I have heard of many report of patrons being beat to the ground by 4 or 5 officers.

The event had private security, the security had check points outside of the venue to search for any illegal substances. They did as good of a job as any other club or concert. They confiscated anything that was suspicious, just as any security would do. As I am sure there were a few people that managed to smuggle something in that was not appropriate, just as would happen at any other place; there was absolutely no need for the magnitude of violence that was used. It is an outrage! A group of young adults were hunted as if they were terrorists! This story must be heard!

YOUR CHILDREN ARE BEING BEATEN BY A POLICE STATE. POST THIS ANYWHERE AND EVERYWHERE AND EMAIL YOUR COMMENTS TO NEWS STATIONS ABOUT THIS ATTROCITY
