Yo tha true scene is at the DnB shows and junglist house parties, otherwise Daygo doesnt have to swell of a united rave scene. Well thats my opinion othwise we are a lot more laid back than the LA elitists. thats 4a show

hey and welcome, on behalf of sd ravers id lke to apologize for the nonexistant scene. its all 21 and up club events since raves are 100% outlawed here. we all just go to la.
i got the priviledge to go to san fran for party monster this last weekend and i have to give mad props to san fran raves for being some of the most awesome, pluriest people. your poi spinners are good and in general you guys can all dance up there (i was suprised when i heard someone say so-calers cant dance then i thought about it and its true, theres so very few of us who can tear it up and im proud to say im one of them) but i didnt see a single good lightshow up there. great vibes though im rambling though. the point im trying to make is your moving from an awesome plur and united scene up in san fran to la's scene where its "cool" to be a junglist and hate on people. |

There are no raves in SD. You either have to drive East, out to the desert, North, to LA or San Bernardino, or South, to Rosarito. SD only has clubs. Good clubs, but you have to like clubbing.

Yeah, the local scene is non-existent. We get lots of thick tourists that think they're on spring break instead
. Not really PLUR people . San Diego is a lot more mainstream than the Bay Area (which I miss a lot, I lived in Berkeley for 6 years and only moved the San Diego a year ago). I'm sure you'll be able to find things, if you are willing to drive, but I don't have any good advice to give because I'm struggling myself. |
