I Need Help From The Cali Kids!!

Well this is the first time i have ever posted on any of the California boards... my name is Alex,i am from Ohio and very involued in the midwest rave scene. I would like to say hello to all of you and also say that i have alot of respect for your guy's scene, all that it has changed and contributed to the American scene as a whole over the years. I also envy the closeknit community you guys have and hope things continue to go well for your parties in general.

The reason i am posting is because i will be coming out to Southern California this summer and i would like to attend some of the massives that take place. I only know of a couple annuals....such as Nocturnal Wonderland and Electric Daisy Festivle. I need info(if there is any) on an other massives that take place during the summer out there. I hope you guys can help, and when i am out there i would love to meet alot of you! PLUR

Thanks for the kind words yo... even though I'm not a native-cali-raver, i'm from seattle. I havent really been to any massives here, but if they are anything like the ones in Washington... if you're anything like me, you'd probably prefer a smaller scene where the vibe is tight. Where in Cali are you gonna be? How long have you been involved in the scene back in the midwest? (How is it the midwest anyway, isnt ohio like 2-3 states away from the atlantic ocean? wouldnt like Wyoming, Colorado, or Utah be the midwest?)

Anyway... welcome to the Sunshine State... half a year early.

We dont really have " Massives " as you would put it except for the anuals: IE: EDC, Nocturnal Wonderland, Monster Massive and Together as One.. Some of our parties can get as big as 3000 or 4000 kids, and as little ( that I have scene at a hardcore show at 1AM in Long Beach (( long story dont ask )) as little as 15 or 20... lol. Welcome to California, you'll love it here.. are your moving? Or just comming to visit? We would be happy to take you to a party though.. there fun!

hell yeah... some one else from the mid west. i just moved out here but now might be moving back... i from Indiana. i was a raver for 2 years out in the mid west and even the roll parties were 10 X's better than any massive ive been to.. i really like the close knit "family" that sandiego has to offer. i just got here and am having trouble... and some very cool ppl that i have just met are already giving me tips and ideas to do in my situation... lovely... any way... stay in touch with every one on here and you will for sure have a great time down here.
