it was kinda funny, a few ravers in the mix, all dressed incognito, i think i was the only one with kandi in the place. from like 11-12 was on the floor by my lonesome, seriously the ONLY ONE dancing. some good house, way too slow for my tastes though. and skylab2000 was absolutely amazing! he made the night for me, and i will definitely see him whenever he comes through socal again.

YEAH I LOVE SKYLAB. I DIDN'T MAKE IT BECAUSE IT WOULD BE CLUBBY. BUT I WILL START TRYING THEM OUT AND CHANGE THE VIBE AND LOOK, SAN DIEGANS ARE SO FAKE.

Ground Zero was alright for me. It was definitely more club than anything else. I guess not many ravers came out so it was mostly people checkin it out and doin a little after hours thing. It was cool hangin with HookahGod tho. He and I were the *only two people with photons or lights of any kind!

Music was definitely a little too "housey" for my tastes. I really wanted some trance or even some happy hardcore. DJs were good but they just didn't keep the vibe alive loing enough to get anything real started. I mean they'd bring the vibe up and then drop it or break it down. I just couldn't get into it.

The DnB room was just as HookahGod put it. Too much bass and not enough music. The roof was just too damned cold. haha.

As a spot, I'd say Montage is still one of the better places in SD. It was wasn't too crowded but maybe that's part of what was missing. All in all it sounds like a whack time but I had a good time. I guess I'm just glad that someone tried to keep some shit going in SD. I'll still come out and support as much as I can.

It was getting packed when i showed up around 11. Mostly house and breakz. People started leaving around 2, right when Skylab went on. Which sucked cuz he really tore it up. There was still a small crowd even at 5:00 when i was about to go on. 3 records into my set they shut it down. Overall it was a fun night, props to N-motion for bringing such great headliners to SD.

dude hell yeah! Personally I hate having to haul my ass up to r-side or la for good parties and music. if someone throws some good shit consistently I'll rally the troops and bring em out.
