OKay I wasn't going to blast the FIRE and ICE thing that happened this weekend buuuuuuuut......................... I can't sit back and let other people believe that was what you'd call a rave. This had to have been the biggest gathering of POSERS I've ever seen in my life. I'm hoping that none of the people there that night were at there first Rave Because if that had been my first rave I'd never go back to a rave again in my whole life. lets go down the List and see what went wrong.
1. The crowd: The people attending this rave were way too concerned with appearences. I saw chicks in chanel and people who actually went to costume shops for there Rave gear. Give me a break. You can't buy clothes to make you Raver, How LAME is that.

2.The drugs: Now I don't want to sound like you typical Raver, shroom poppin, pill droppin E-tard, however lets fuckin face it, Pills, shrooms, acid , X, K, and all of the other various hardcore drugs are...... Well lets face it fun...and with a crowd full of people almost completely of any devoid of real personality or charms, Drugs would have been an improvement here. This place was so devoid of drugs, it was sad, I felt bad for S.D. ravers because they looked so deprived. Fucking stupid I actually saw a kid getting a light show despite the fact he was completely sober and was proud to admit it LAME LAME LAME. Pretty pathetic.


3. The Cover: I had a huge problem with this the cover for this party was 30 dollars. This was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to steep considering the type of party it was. Compare this to lets say a party that is totally werth the money take ,"Reset" for example this party had everything that you could possibly want in a rave good tunes, good people, and good umm....... well you know.
The cover at that party was 35 dollars. This is only 5 more dollars and you get yourself a kick ass party.....Not a room full of Posers pretending to be high on drugs.

4. The Location: Not that Downtown S.D. is bad. Bars and Clubs can be fun too, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut, they attract a certain type of .....well........ you know............. Asshole. Which is why I'd have to say some of these idiots can stumble to your rave and Make your rave suck, right away. S.D. Ravers need to think about throwing a rave somewhere in like say Oceanside or maybe CarlsBAD. It's just too much work to goto these downtown gigs. If I'm a Raver from say O.C. its a 2 hour drive if you never get lost. And finding something Downtown can get really hairy, really fast. Considering that that same OC raver can go north about 30 to 40 minutes and not have to worry about getting lost, why bother with anything in San Diego...On the other hand if the location is only 1 hour south. You might at least consider driving.

Over all this party was a bust... To many POSERS, To many snobs and not enough...welll.... I'd hate to say this...PLUR... lol I certainly wasn't feeling the Love. Everybody had a dirty look sonar probe built into there back. I was like dammitt this is a rave and nobody is smiling. WTF IS UP WITH THAT. I can tell you what...The kids at this place were rich pricks. NOT RAVERS. I'm thinking of organizing a 3 day "SAVE SAN DIEGO RAVERS" bus tour to rescue the some of the potentially kick ass ravers from the powder puff, Disney , Calvin Klien, raving that I saw this saturday at Fire and Ice. This party was enough to make any party goer to not ever want to go to another Rave EVER AGAIN. You doods down there better work on the attitudes, or work on finding people with better attitudes, till then leave the real Raving to the hardcore kids north of you, and stop giving RAVES. 1 bad rave is enough to ruin 4 good raves.

ya no shit, i spent a good hour blastin it on sat. friggin lame, now wonder though, downtown crowd for a downtown rave.. ughhh... dont even wanna use that word. djs way overrated too. and oh yeah, they didnt want to accept the wantickets despite the fact that that was the site that was promoted on their own FLYER!!
haha the crowd lol... its fun when some 30 yr old stuck up chick tries to dance with you... repeatedly.. NOT! ok but its fun watching her try!!
and there were drugs.. eh.... not much lol. b4 I even went in, some rollling chick started feeling up my silky T and asked me to "take her home"

ITS A CLUB/BAR its not a rave venue. its where older ppl go to hang out and get drunk no matter whats there.i bet half of of the ppl didnt even know what was going on. in no way shape or form was that supposed to be a "RAVE" or "PARTY" it was some djs spinning at a "CLUB"!!!! if u want to go to a "RAVE" than go to a "RAVE"!!!
