A.M.07 Recap.

On behalf of FHP & Generations I wanna thank everyone that came down from the O.C., L.A., Riverside, North County. Thank you to the Djs that helped in making this night happen.
You guys make all the hard work that much more worth it.
There are some events that happened last week that some people may or may not know about. But let me dive right in and get to it.
Origanlly we did have this awsome underground venue. It was my friends 2 room private art gallery. I could fit about 250 people, 600 with the back patio. Early last week during the last night it rained hear in SD.
The rain made the roof cave in. Destroying lots of equipment and mechandise in addition to leaving a big hole in the cieling. So what happened was the actual owner of the building did not want anyone on the premises. So we lost our spot on last Saturday during Christmas time.
While all this was happening things got worst.
On Friday night me and Jay developed a fever and cold. And I and Jay were in bed all week end. And we were looking through all our sources and contacts trying to find something suitable that would somehow fit our needs in terms of having 2 rooms and all ages, while at least being able to serve alcohol to those 21 and up. I found many, many spots.
But, they were either all booked up months in advance.(Ofcourse)
Or It was not long enough notice.Or they did'nt have 2 rooms. Or they did not open for NYE. So here I was faceing the fact that our party may not even happen. Wich I was coming to terms with. (unwillingly) While me and Jay were dragging our sick butts around the whole county for 4 days.( we even lost sleep)
I remembered this hall owner I spoken to before about a hall.
So I called him up. And low and behold not only did he not have anything booked for NYE, he had 2 halls, and could have all ages with alcohol.
See, the origanal venue was allready fully decorated just the way we wanted it, with decorated intricate art work and lighting, in a way everyone loves. so that was a non issue.
And Jay was only going to pay less than half of what he paid for the 2 halls we had this week end. Wich he had to somehow come up with. (All this was totally unexpected)
So, we really were streched by that. But, The show must go on!
Then on Thursday me and Jay signed papers.
So I hope most of you had a good time. I do understand some of your dissapointment as we were sad we lost our original spot.
We did do everything in our power to make everything safice.
Again, Thank you to all the cool ass people that came down to ring in the New Years with us. And to all the new friends I made.
