ill be moving to some place just south of tampa (forgot the name) from SF bay area in california, mostly wondering how's the rave scene out there? if any? what are some placesto check out ? thanks heaps!

yo there are a lot of pretty sick partys just go to 8up.com and you will find all the upcoming events. I am a promoter on there and in SFL so hit me up once you get on 8up with a pm because I very rarley go to this site (Gman420) that is my username. BTW I hope you wouldnt consider Rabbit in the Moon a tchno concert. This one girl I hookeds up w/ the party flavor down here said she dosent want to go to a techno concert. Anyhow just appreciate what is left of the scene. It gets pretty hot down in FL.

A: Gates open at noon and close when everyone leaves, music from noon until 6AM unless Apple wants to keep going.

Q: How old do you have to be to get into this event?

A: This is an 18+ party, 21+ to drink.

Q: Will there be food and drinks available at the party?

A: Yes, there will be both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as barbeque for sale.

Q: Can we bring our own food and drinks?

A: Of course, feel free to B.Y.O.B. (as long as you are 21 and grilling is welcomed as long as you respect the property.

Q: Will there be plenty of restrooms?

A: Yes, we will have plenty of restrooms and there will be restrooms reserved for the ladies.

Q: In case I get too trashed to drive home, can we stay on the property?

A: Please do! Camping is welcomed so bring a tent, RV, van, sleeping bag, etc. You can stay as long as you need to sober up. DON'T DRINK & DRIVE!

A: We are working to set up some games such as a volley ball net and horsehoes. This property is 110 acres so feel free to bring frisbees, soccer balls, footballs etc. Go crazy!\

There are three main forums / websites you can use to find out about the latest underground events going on up in tampa:

1) Euphoria Project -- [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] -- we've got TONS of promoters posting to our site on a regular basis, pretty much every major event in the state gets posted up here early on...

2) 8up -- [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] -- mostly for the South Florida scene, 8up also has a central/north florida forum that receives a good bit of activity.

3) eNation -- [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] -- this forum actually is MORE active in the central & north florida forums, and is highly recommended for anyone upstate looking for quality underground events!

Florida Raves ( [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] ) was also another great option, except the founder recently decided to take it offline... that site will soon be merging into Euphoria Project's website so we'll be able to offer even more possibilities and resources to improve everyone's nightlife potential
