Yeah, so I'm new to the site, not new to raves though. Been attending raves for about 5 years now. Also, I've been on Glowsticking.com for about that long.

Anyways, I'm 21...and I live in Sarasota, and there is NOTHING around here...mainly I just wanna find some cool people, because this place sucks.



EDIT: Oh yeah, I ended up seeing Paul Van Dyk this past Saturday in Ybor, was suprised this event wasn't posted up! PvD tore it up.

good luck finding anything in sota, i lived there like 5 yrs ago and even then there were only like 5 raver kidz in the area. best bet look in miami or east coast theres slightly more going on over ther at least there used to be.. and tampa is useless to find ug partiez u might find weeklies at like ampetheatre or something but thats about it.

LOL just so you guys know the Amp has been closed since May. So if youre looking for Techno over here you have a few choices....Floyd's (Hard Rock Cafe) which is not really grimmie enough for me a lil too upscale, Level 3 which is trying to catch the old Amp crowd and not doing a very good job cuz it kinda sucks, and the Rare Olive on Thursdays and every 2nd Saturday which i dont have anything bad to say about there cuz my friends are kinda running those nites...lol but they have really good music the vibe is laid back.

Oh and I cant forget the after hours spots which honestly freaks me out everytime I go...there's just too much obvious drug dealing and doing going on....has anyone heard of disscreetness...lol!

Well you can always come down this saturday to ybor. Theres a nice show going on at the Rare Olive on 7th Ave...its in Tampa. If you want directions just let me know.

Directions From Sarasota:

Take I75 north
get off on S.R. 60 (Adamo Drive) west
pass HWY 301 and 78th st
make a right 50th st (US 41)...theres a Shell Station at the corner on your right hand side
get in left lane
after you pass the railroad tracks
make a left on 7th ave (at the light) theres a Checkers and McDonalds at the corners
take 7th ave to 15th st
make a left you can park in the garage or in dirt lot.
