Looks like we're starting to gather some numbers here. That's badass. Keep posting and keep in touch.

What sort of gear does anyone have they could contribute to a show? Personally all I have is a laptop and some software. And a pile of cds. Anyone got decks or cd-j's?

Have a Kustom Bass amp, 2 Stanton STR8-80 Direct Drive turntables, a Behringer VMX300 Mixer (not very good). Tables are stable enough to play decently on, but the mixer is kinda shotty. The bass amp only gets so loud and doesn't play high frequency well. I have the gear for home practice but nothing for a decent live show. Would need a better mixer and a PA system of some kind probably.

Well that's all we really need right now. For anything live I'm sure we can scrounge up stuff. The guy that does shows in Savannah said he'd be willing to help w/ equipment and a friend of mine has some. We're not there yet, so no worries.

There is a lot of talk on this forum about equipment etc, but that will never be a problem (if there happens to be a large enough party I am more than willing to donate to rent gear,) the only problem is finding a place to have a good party.

Very rad. How large of a party are we talking? I toyed around last night on a pair of cd-js for a few hours for a crowd of maybe 10-15. Was enjoyable to get some live practice and play for people who were actually enjoying it.

I was talking with a friend and thought it'd be badass if we could make/design a nearly portable sound system. Focused more on being able to wear the items, a minimizing of cords, weather resistant, etc. Basically if you wanted to have a party on the beach for a few hours, for example, it could be set up in under 10 minutes and if you were told to leave unexpectedly then it could all be broken down and transported by foot just as quick. Improv parties would be hilarious and fun as hell I think.

Also, give [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] a look. Worth adding to your favorites just to keep up on a few more shows.

You guys should do the Georgia circuit this weekend coming up. Calyx and Teebee @ ATL 9/28 and then another show 9/29 in Savannah.

Trance show tomorrow (thurs) in downtown at toucan reef. Starts around 9 if I recall. Scene seems to be picking up here quite a bit.
