Bahhahahaa, heck no. We hardly get anything. Maybe once a month at this bar called the Oasis in Folly Beach. I'm out in San Diego for work and I'm getting spoiled like mad. I'm definitely motivated to start some shows of my own once I get back though. Just gotta find interested artists and people who know what's up.

My goal is to get a yearly festival happening here and to do a ton of benefit shows to help fund various things throughout the community.

Any input from you and anyone else who'd be interested in seeing something like this grow would be a MAJOR help. Basically I'm on my own with this and have zero experience in all honesty. So far so good though.

That would be completely and utterly fantastic. I moved to SC this past summer from Ohio, where we had shit in Cleveland or Cincinatti all the time, and SC is just soooo very dead. I'd be happy to help out with flyer design or anything like that.

man, right now what i need most is a venue of some sort. these guys don't understand that this is a BUSINESS relationship that we're working with here and that there's a shitload of money going into this to make THEM money.

i dont have the time to put up with venues that don't return calls and want you to chase them down. i work full time and go to school 4 hours a day 4 days a week as well.

ill help out anyway needed...im a full time student...but hey...i can do some like fliers...or help with a website.....or sumthin that doesnt require too much time during the day!

Thats pretty much all yall can do, is just start a scene yourselves and see where it goes. Paradox...sorry to say, due to curfew/city laws, if they get any kind of venue, it will probobly be 18+ if you're lucky. Dont worry, i had to wait till I was 17 to go to my 1st rave. There is one thing you can start...its called a savings account...with that savings account you can save up the money to buy a basic set of turntables, and then eventually, all the needed DJ Equipment. Then, you can purchase some vinyl (Happy Hardcore would be awsome, but thats just me, lol), and start your 3 year DJ Practice. Then, when you get 18, with all the support and help you have shown towards the SC scene, maybe they will let you take a turn on a DJ set....see, there is something you can do

second, wen im 18...im not gonna stay in SC...im gonna try to hit a college in SoCal....lol thats where all the good engineering schools are anyway...
