Has anyone here ever been to Ibiza?

Im seriously considering going next summer, i was just wondering if anyone can give me some tips on the costs of a vacation for around a week to the party capital of the world

Well I can't say that I have been to Ibiza or that I know the costs, but I can say that I know it is insane. From the movies, pictures and testimonials I have heard, it would be a dream come true to go there. I hope you get a chance to go, I can only imagine how sweet it would be.

YEa it definately sounds like the best place on earth to party at, i mean all the big freakin Djs are there spinning eveyrynight, when we have to wait for them over here months and months, its like a rave everynight out there!

the place is meant to be pretty tacky the last few years, a lot of british scumbags go out there now, and its really expensive
I heard that richie hawton and sven vath might be setting up a club there, that would be shit cool

i went to Mallorca was so close to Ibiza but was on a family vaction so i didn't make it over to Ibiza but I am planning another vaction next year to europe and plan on hitting up Ibiza this time around

I just saw someones pics from a trip there, and it just looked absolutely amazing. Like Moogle said, the party just doesn't stop, the pics showed djs spinning all night long and right on into the day, it just looked insane. I have to go!!!

Ibiza is cool, but way overrated. It's as much the party capital as Cancun, Miami, etc.... meaning it's not. It's ONLY good during the summer months, and gets SHITTY before and after. That's not hardcore. People do that in Miami and Cancun as well; Vegas too for that matter. It's a place you certainly must visit, but party capital no way.

Take New York City for example, yes you always have your main stream clubs like those that are most popular in Ibiza, but then there are so many underground ones you'd never hear of, and top notch DJ's spinning almost every night at the week at different places.

All of the world's top DJ's had to make it there in order to be recognized as top notch. Tiesto too.... I've seen every single major DJ spin in NY at so many different events, and be on the lookout because there are ones that are up and rising but under contracts in NY that make Tiesto sound like a dj noob. (Yeah Tiesto is awesome, so take it from that).

Anyway, there are no other cities like New York in the world. I've partied in so many cities, different countries, islands, you name it...... and in NY the crowds will line up in negative 30 degree weather & snow/ice all over the ground and some places running 24/7 and other clubs are open for a full day straight, etc.... it's easy to take a few special events, stay open late, invite some top dj's, and party in good weather. There's nothing hardcore nor special about that. Partying in negative degree weather, rain, snow, shine, hot, cold, mainstream, underground, etc... now that's top notch. And the music is uncanny plus the people actually all know how to dance to trance/techno/progressive, etc... not just bop back and forth like cornballs.
