For 4 years, a collective of dj's from New England based out of CT have brought you events that have unified breakbeat culture in a state, a region and beyond. Along those 4 years the THRESHOLD Collective has grown to include other crews and has collaborated on many different events and projects with many like minded artists and production companies furthering it's mission on unifying all of us who's passion includes the preservation of this rich breakbeat culture.

On the special date of 8.8.08 which will be the first installment of our anniversary celebration, we have decided to throw our first event on a date which numerically symbolizes consciously uniting vibes through
transforming energy through our love for this music and culture.

Originally from Berlin, Germany, Amadeus has been pushing the sounds of Ragga / Jungle / Drum N' Bass for a decade now. He rose up playing clubs and raves all over Colorado, from "Roofless Productions" and "Together Productions" Raves, to SOMA in Boulder (Mixmag voted Top Ten club in the USA), and many more. His first CD "Phonik Boom" was released on Organik Recordings (now defunct) in 2000 and the following release "Midsummer Night Sessions" (Organik Recordings, 2001) was praised by BPM Magazine as "The music is sooo
fine - drum and bass bliss. Props for not being the typical band wagon monkey. If this guy is in your neighborhood give him some props!" issue 02/01, and earned him runner-up in the North-American Mixtape contest "Unleash the Beats". Currently living in NYC, he continously travels throughout the US, Canada and Europe to perform his unique style of Ragga and Hip Hop infused Drum N' Bass & Dubwise.

Not only active behind the decks he co-hosted "Plan B Dnb Sundays" in NYC from 2006-2008, a drum n' bass weekly with national and international guests, and is the mind behind SURVIVAL STORY - The Ragga Jungle Compilation ([Only registered and activated users can see links. ]), with a second volume dropping in late 2008. He puts out Mix CD's on the regular to great resonance in the scene (free mixes to download at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]), works on tunes including a collaboration with new school ragga jungle legend Krinjah (free tunes for download at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]). He just completed his 4th consecutive yearly tour which brought him to Germany, Belgium, Holland, Romania and the Czech Republic (tour blog on myspace and at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]).

Known for highly energetic performances, Amadeus blends anything from high energy hipstep rollers to ragga-jungle, with an emphasis on reggae / dancehall and hip hop remixes. Always comin' correct with loads of unreleased dubplates from international producers his unique sound is defined by versatility and crowd interaction, always inciting great respect and overall dancehall madness.

WALKING:
From MAIN St. walk down PALACE WALK. We are the last door on your right. Palace Walk is a walkway that runs between the old Palace Theatre and 155 Main Street right before the corner of MAIN and KEELER.

DRIVING:
I-84 EAST:Take Exit 5 (in Connecticut) go straight through stop sign at end of ramp. Make right at first light (at Bottom of hill) onto RT 53 (Main St). Go straight through 5 lights. At 6th light make left onto Keeler St. Park in the 1st or 2nd lot on the left.

I-84 WEST: Take Exit 5 (in Connecticut) make a right off the ramp onto RT 53 (Main Street). Go straight through 6 lights. At the 7th light make a left onto Keeler Street. Park in the 1st or 2nd lot on the left.
