DJ BIOGRAPHY (Checkout our stars for the night)

DJ JIMMY ROLL
His affection for dance music started in 1997 and began mixing on turntablables & the Legendary CDJ500 twins. Jimmy commercially plays in-demands hiphop/r&b songs but his personal preferred genre is House and through the years has progressed to electro/deep progressive music. Influenced by acts like of Richie Hawtin & Christian Varela, Jimmy actively tries to improve and know how to get the floor pumping.

DJ ALI MORPHINE:
A Brunei Hero on the Dj circuit and the head man for the Dj group Groove Architects. He has been spinning House and Electro grooves for almost a decade. Ranked 4th in the 2003 Dj competition hosted by Jungle Jerry (MY) and Dj Leiley (BN), which earned him a spot to Dj live on Philihan FM. Dj Ali music style has evolved through time and has now achieved a truly unique to Brunei’s music scene.

DJ DK:
Started to DJ at university in the United Kingdom where R & B and House music was popular. Has played internationally from the UK to Malaysia. He is one of Brunei party favorites able to entice and predict what the crowd prefers. An entertainer at heart with skills encompassing mixing all kinds of genres. DJ DK is also talented on turntables and piano.

DJ G KROL:
It has been four years since Dj GKrol began his journey to musical excellence. With a unique ear for house tribal and commercial he has also extended his skills to include all other genres and is considered within the local crowd as an all rounder DJ. He has played in prominent clubs in Asia. Influenced by the legend Dj Tiesto he hopes to bring a new and upbeat tempo to excite the crowd.

DJ SYAKE:
Although Syake has only entered the Dj scene for about a year he has already made his mark with his personal style. His techy bass line and presence behind the decks has wowed crowds in the club Balcony and hence is now a resident Dj. Syake has also played in Poppin and beyond 2000 (Labuan).

DJ ZENO:
Has been in the scene for the past year pushing his hard trance sounds to the music devotee’s across Borneo. Influenced heavily by acts such as Kamui and Ganjaguru, Zeno’s technical skills on the EFX and mixer have made crowds bounce to his beats. Zeno is a regular monthly act at Balcony. Previous clubs he has played at include Poppin and Beyond 2000 (Labuan).

CBELL J:
Has been called a new breed Sarawak animal debut in 2006, ranks in the top 20 most voted DJs within Malaysia. He has also been featured in magazine such as JUICE showering praise which has awarded him residency in top Miri Clubs. In 2007 he started affiliation with East Malaysia Bang Bass as a diplomat thus further broadening his skills. He has played alongside multinational DJ heroes such as DIdgital, Xt-Acid, X-Statik and other local acts. His signature sound includes all elements that make anyone stomp the dance floor with energy.

DJ MIDNIGHT:
Has been Djing over a decade across the globe hailing from Melbourne, Australia. His hard tech and acid bass line have slammed crowds at some of the biggest international events and well known clubs in Australia. Having played alongside acts such as Hellraiser, Scot Project, ASYS, Dark By Design and other internationally renowned acts. His sets have been described as hard as a nine inch nail.

DJ FIESTA :
Another one of Sarawaks favorites DJ. Has actively been on the scene since 2004. Preferred genre of choice is Tribal Tech house. Fiesta like his Dj name is able to bring out the party in any event he spins at. Although heavily influenced by acts like Erick Morillo (Subliminal Records), Defected Records (Copyright, David Penn, ATFC), Harry Choo Choo Romero (Sondos Records), Dj Pippi, Misstress Barbara, Steve Lawler, Solomun, Dubfire,Deetron and many more, He is able to produce a mix quite different that he can call his own.
