BIG BUD: oldskool drum & bass legend ~ for the first time in Hong Kong

Local Drum & Bass collective, Kongkretebass, are kicking off 2008 with dubwise sound from Europe. DJ/Producer BIG BUD is stopping by Hong Kong this January for the first time. Being one of the old-skool pioneers in the game and a legend in his own rights, BIG BUD is no stranger to big label names and Drum and Bass fans alike.

BIG BUD has been spreading his dubwise sounds over the last decade, with earlier releases on GoodLooking and Moving Shadow records through to his own label Soundtrax Recordings - influencing many artists within the genre on the way.

Kongkretebass is proud to host the artist on the Hong Kong leg of his world tour, BIG BUD - Saturday 19th January 2008. Supported by local jocks Blood Dunza, DJ Wash & Johnathon.

Expect a musical journey through Drum & Bass/Jungle with BUD's signature rolling slow synths and strings - blending into wonderfully dubwise, emotion-filled soundscapes!
