I'm going to be living in Brisbane for about 5 months come July, I gotta rave it up if possible...as I'll be missing so many events back here in Southern California! Would be cool to talk ya'll who live here..as I don't know anybody there yet.

Sorry to break it to you, but the Brisbane scene is pretty much non-existent. The main organizers pretty much quit, and so far theres nothing big on the horizon.. Pretty much all you can do is hit up clubs on weekends

Ahhh thats lame...but thanks for replying to my post Sicarus..there was like 50+ views but no response...Guess maybe I'll hit the clubs..or take a break until I am stateside again.

So have you checked out any of the clubs? I ask as I'm going to the states soon (Vegas ) and I'm wondering how ours compare. My guess is they're no where near as good? Good to see brisbane is getting some new ones though - zuri (not my scene by w/e) and a megaclub yet to be named... Looking forward to checking out the megaclub

Hey Maximus- Really haven't made it to too many clubs cause most my friends weren't as keen- but I went to The Family last weekend to see Kyau & Albert spin. That was pretty tight. Been to the Monastery, GPO...not sure if I'll make it to The Met or The Beat or number of places that spin Electro, DnB, Trance.. But honestly the Valley has a lot of choices it's pretty cool...Can't say how it compares to clubs back home- cause I haven't been to any- seeing as I turned 21 a few months before leaving for Oz. Back in the states- had just been to a handful of raves thus far...

Oi its too bad you didn't go over couple months ago when the exchange rate was almost 1 to 1 Well would have been good for you, wasn't good for me then..but have fun though!
