Early 2007, the Superfreak Festival emerged as an independent underground electronic music event catering to a wide array of musical styles.

On the 4-5-6-7th January 2008, the "Return of the Superfreak" swiftly delivers a MASSIVE second installment of sideways stepping, beat freaking & free flowing fun at the newly named FREAKREATION FESTIVAL 2008.

The "Freakreation Festival" is an electronic music, art's and lifestyle gathering for people of all ages, to enjoy talented local & interstate artists, and international acts from across the globe, in an exotic playground set amongst the pristine backdrop of Boonoo Boonoo Island - Tenterfield, located 2.5 hrs inland from Byron Bay - NNSW - Australia.

With the larger community beckoning for quality production & truly fresh, unique sounds.
The Free-creation team are dedicated to creating an event which offers a completely diverse music experience & interactive gathering of travelers & our local community to celebrate the New Year & freak-creation of our diverse world.

Camping for 4 days & 3 nights with music over 3 stages, 48hr non-stop main stage with markets, cafe's, workshops, healing zone, cinema, performance, art installations, lighting spectacular, tipi's, domes, sprinklers, first aid, swimming & so much more.

Sydney’s most notorious crew, known for their mammoth Earthdance event which attracts 40,000 people, bring their slick style to the north coast to interject into Freakreation. Rif Raf and Marco will program this unique and ultra unordinary line-up, with great respect we welcome the lads & their deep soundz!
