The DJ Producer, commonly known as half of the renowned "Hellfish and Producer" and the man behind the Rebelscum record label, will be gracing our shores in late November. Hailing from the UK, The DJ Producer has been DJing since the late 80’s and creating tracks since the early 90’s, covering a wide variety of musical stylings from drum and bass, to hardcore breaks, to hardcore techno. His tracks have been on regular playlists in breaks, hardcore and industrial clubs across Australia for more than 10 years now, and are always in high demand. He has released albums consistently since 1994, on labels such as Deathchant, 46 Records and local label Killing Sheep Records. He has also appeared on numerous compilations released on labels such as Planet Mu, Epileptik Productions, Psychik Genocyde and Masters of Hardcore. This boy certainly has one serious list of releases! The DJ Producer will be supported by a variety of top quality Australian producers and DJ’s. One of Australia’s most well known drum and bass producers and the man behind Hardline Recordingz, Paul Blackout, will be venturing down from Newcastle to mix up the night with his signature hard drum and bass set, with the possibility of a few treats thrown in for the Ruffneck fans. Also thrown into the mix will be the man behind the world renowned Bloody Fist Records, Mark N, who will be awing us with his breaks and hardcore scratch mixing skills. Also playing will be local breakcore producer, Dysphemic, hot on the heels of his recent CD release. Dysphemic has been a regular at breaks nights across Melbourne for some time now and never fails to please with his polished production and gritty beats. To top off the night will be Sidewinder, a local DJ who has played at numerous Melbourne hardcore events, including the ‘Fear’ gig in early November. We expect her to rip up the dance floor and keep the punters stomping until the early hours of the morning. The evening should showcase both classics and new music and has been structured to appeal to all with an interest in drum and bass, breaks, hard techno, hardcore or breakcore.
