So I am possibly moving to the Sydney area next year on a job offer for the company I work for.

I was just wondering how often raves occur there... I'll be sad to leave the scene here in Southern Cali, but if there is a thriving scene there to embrace...

yes, its a pretty busy party scene around here, theres something to go to every week, with big events happening at least every month or so.
