I am not suprised/shock/interested in this shooting. We are waging wars all around the world everytime you turn on the news all we hear about is nuclear weapons, Iraq, bombs, killings but we are only suprised and appauled when it happens on US soil to upper class mostly white americans.

There are people shot and killed every day in southern california. We all know this. Nobody has vigils, ceremonies and hour long news reports about them. We have innocent soldiers shot and killed every day again nobody is appauled, shocked or up in arms about that. And we as americans kill people in other countries everyday and nobody gives a shit.

So why should i care now? Because they were "innocent"? because they were going to school?

If we always put in this much interest into stopping senseless killings we would be in a much peaceful world

I can't believes nobody's said this yet or maybe I haven't read all the post properly either way is anyone worried about copy catters? I remember after columbine happened there were copy catters at two of the high schools in SB, but i'm not surprised they happened at these schools from what i've heard about them. I'm thinking college copy catters are a lot more rare, but I don't know there are some angry people everywhere. I have never once seen a security guard at cc (and I needed one once) unless those people with the chalk sticks are them and if they are I doubt they'll be able to protect anyone which is scary.
