So it's not just me who thinks the emo's are gender confused. All the girls in high school were like they're so cute and i'm like who those guys over there that look like girls?!!! WTF!! Is all I have to say to that.

In my opinion? Its an unneccessary grandstand play, which deprives a REAL male of the opportunity to have something nice in his yearbook. It also creates further confusion about gender roles in young men, which, as far as I am concerned, is generally detrimental to society as a whole. Personally I feel sorry for young men today, the crap they have to deal with.

Again its just MY opinion...I don't claim its fact, but its what I think.

Well, its not depriving any sex of anything becasue id assume that the reverse could happen (a male who identivies af a woman being queen). And i dont see how that act would confuse young men. "Gender bending" has been documented to be around for literaly hundreds of years. Who knows how much further back it goes. Its no more a "threat to sexuality" now then it has ever been. I know as a modern young man, i dont feel that this chick who feels shes a dude effects my sexuality whatsoever (Im strait, BTW).

Now, the only effect tollerence/acceptance will have is that people who identify as alternate sexualities will not have to live on the outskirts of our society anymore. Do you know how high the suicide rate is for homosexuals? Its hard being told your an abomination or your needy or your confused all your life and people literaly get disowned by there families becasue of sexuality.

To sum it up, i am proud of the impovements we are making in LBTG rights and acceptance of alturnitave lifestyles.

RIGHT ON!!!!!! i am straight too...but gay rights are a must. btw i am not pc either. i think this article is cheesy. i mean its basically there to say that the school has tolerance...not acceptance. but im glad that she/he has the rite to be prom king if he/she wants to be. i think u are wat u think u are. guy..girl...big bird...as long as ur a good person not hurtin anyone i will accept you. btw Raverkid00 u dont belive in ADHD? aaaaaa...its real. trust me. when ur thoughts are goin a million miles a min. and u cant concentrate on shit..even though u want to...its real. now i agree that ADHD is bein diagonised too much...but i really do have it. it sucks somtimes. caus u'll be sittin in class bein like "ok i HAVE to pay attetnion"..and then something happens or nothing will happen and ur mind drifts off to "i wonder how long it takes dry erase markers to dry out?" lol. thats just my two cents take it or leave it.
