Summary:

Iran wants to conduct nuclear energy research and use nuclear energy as a means for power. However, most of the world has held a united front against Iran's nuclear program because they feel that Iran is attempting to assemble nuclear weapons.

Iran continued to conduct their nuclear program even after being asked not to so now they are being referred to the security council.

They say if they are referred to the security council that the road to diplomacy is at a dead end.

Which means, likely nuclear war.

Although, I might be over-dramatizing, we will see within the coming months.

it does sound a bit more serious than iraq. The only reason it seems a lil more believable is that there is more world support, and i know france wouldn't get too involved if it was BS

I dunno tho, the world is turning into a crazy place, the US thought they would kinda callm the region by taking on iraq, but now there is this with iran, and the palestinian ppl voted for some muslim extriemists for power, that's more of a threat to israel tho but i'm sure the US will be 100% involved in the whole thing.

Also, I wasn't ever implying that I am afraid of Iran or that I believe Iran is a terrorist nation.
