you certainly did impress me and i apologize.

for instance everyone blames bush and "the war" for our deficit, welllll
maybe somone should look at how we are pumping out $80 BILLION a year to the sudan alone in foreign aid!!! wtf are we aiding the sudan for? we need to look out for #1, which is america. no amount of money can save sudan, and we need the money much more over here lol.

but daved, i dont think you can get out fast enough for me.
rawr. i dont want to get in all kinds of a political debate with you or anything, because its Obvious we are on different sides of the spectrum

but

haha

how can you honestly think we need the money more than they do in sudan? that just...doesnt make sense to me. are you not aware of the severity of the situation? or what...?

also, its easy for a lot of people to blame bush for the defecit when you look at how we were in a surplus under the clinton administration, a lot of people just look at those two facts and make that judgement. but there are obviously a lot of things to factor in, i dont blame it entirely on bush, but there are a lot of decisions i believe this administration has made that have worsened the problem. i do blame bush for a lot of things, but i agree that it is annoying when people just say shit for no reason, other than their own personal retardation....but i do really detest the man.... anywhooooo...hah

dont kill me!

i still got about 2 years b4 i can vote, but from what i've seen since i moved here, there is no fucking way in hell a black dude is gonna become president of the USA EVER EVER EVER, to much racism in this country for that to happen.

A woman president is just about as unlikely, i would like obama to win but we all know it's not gonna happen, and hillary is a chick that's all i gotta say. I personally have no problem with a women president but i'm sure a lot of motha fuckas out there do.

VOTE FOR THE GREEN PARTAY YOO!!!!

Astrid I know you weren't talking to me, but I have to comment. It's not really about who needs the money and who doesn't because the whole entire world could use some more money to help out with there education, to build more hospitals or whatnot, it is about each country we're in a race and competition its about who is better off and honestly the u.s is still in the shit hole have you visited slums? The don't have windows, they don't have a lot of things other people have. Have you been in our homeless shelters yeah they're nice i'll admit that and they do help people get better lives, but they need money and support and until our country is basically perfect then we can't afford to give up any of our money. If you want to help other countries then you donate your own money not ours, NOT MINE! Fix my roads make it safer to drive, have more educational ads about health and whatnot. Obesity is 1 in 3 in children we need to educate people on obviously the safety and food intake.

Before you think that I don't care about other countries cause I do. I buy expensive food with a lable called fair trade it helps 3rd world country farmers who sell products it goes straight to them and their needs. I don't buy things that I know were made in sweat shops. I gave money to the tsunami relief that happened (even more to katrina). I care and I do little things, but I refuse to be blind to my own countries needs and the u.s has lots of needs.

Survival of the fitness it they can't make or if they can't change their situations then i'm sorry they are shit out of luck.

twil I hear you and your right. I disagree with the green party's thoughts on immigration. I would like more border control.

this is what i mean, if you understood the gravity of the situation in darfur, you wouldnt be concerned about windows, at least i fucking hope not. it is not to better education, build hospitals, or whatever, i would be first to agree that that is a national problem, US hospitals are closing all the time due to lack of funding, and our education system is getting cut every year, which i think is fucking devestating....but the money going to sudan is to stop MASACRES there is a CIVIL WAR, where people are being MURDERED, RAPED, AND ARE STARVING TO DEATH. ive never ever understood the rational that our problems are more important than international CRISIS, if a situation like this was occuring in america, foreign countries would be rushing to our aid, and the sad part is, we would EXPECT them to.

educate yourself....[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

also if you really think there is any way our country, our any country for that matter will ever EVER achieve perfection, you are deluding yourself.

sorry if i come off as a crazy bitch or something, but this shit is important to me, and when people compare it to missing windows, it breaks my heart.

I had this whole thing written out, but now it just doesn't matter cause all you see is boo hoo someone doesn't have any windows not realizing that there is a blizzard on the eastcoast and how people are effected by things.
I could just aswell say that money could be better spent stopping human trafficing in the u.s and stopping little girls from being sex slaves. Stopping little girls from being sex slaves in the u.s or help sudan even though what they really need is good diplomacy.

I have $10 on my visa gift card if they take it, its theres, but that is my money that i'm giving and I just want to make sure that you know this is the point i'm trying to make that it's not about not giving/helping its about giving other peoples money that they worked so hard for away to other countries without first seeing it's effects at home.

Join the pease corps and go down and help. I do see a donation button right there break out your credit card and start helping. What are you doing to help them?

And this is so off topic from the original post lol Oh thanks for the websites.

the situation in darfur has been critical for a while now, it's almost too late to do anything. It's beyound greed, power, or even financial gain. What a lot of ppl don't understand is that war has become a way to live in a lot of countries.

Kids are born in it, instead of getting an education, plaayin sports or whatever, they grow up learning how to wage wars, so when it's time, they do what they do best; KILL.

Ex: look at iraq, all arabs, all muslims, from the same coutries... killing each other.... u get a kid who's family died because of a bombing, he grows up hating the party responsible for it and wanting vengance... it's really sad bad true.

We live by our believes, if u were raised to hate jews, muslims, blacks.... then u will. It will take a lot more than just sending some money out to fix all the conflicts in the world. It has to come from the ppl concerned, “Each one has to find his peace from within. And peace to be real must be unaffected by outside circumstances.” Mahatma Guandi.

it's the ppl that gotta realize that they are blinded but the propaganda and all the bullshit they are fed...

When are these ppl gonna WAKE UP!!!

this is a never ending cycle of killing and genocide. It's part of us, humans can be horrible creatures.

its not that i dont value or care about national problems, it just troubles me when people rationalize it that our problems are more important because they are happening to americans, or in our "homeland" however you justify it.

to me it doesnt matter, a person is a person, and i think that its more important to focus on the most dire situations, instead of writing it off as not our problem, or too big of a problem so nothing can be done.

also i understand the objection that its your hard earned money, but in my eyes, my hard earned money is going to fund a war i am entirely opposed to. sucks. but the only thing i can really do about it is vote accordingly...meh.

dude, you guys are fucking awesome

an intelligent exchange of opinions and ideas, from BOTH sides. i have DEEP respect for each of you!!!

i agree with trickster, i will never blind my own countrys needs with the problems of a less fortunate country. survival of the fittest applies to nations as well as animals. our country simply cannot survive if we support other nations. i think this is where we differ, to put it simply,

from your point of view, we need to help others because its the right thing to do, and it needs to be done. i COMPLETLY respect that, and i actually agree.

from my stand point, we , as a nation, just cant burden ourselves with the problems of others. if their nation does not survive, oh well... i force myself to turn a blind eye for the better of my own land.

ps you guys rock.

dude your an idiot.. this is what i mean when i say IGNORANT LIBERALS. put down your biased newspaper, turn off your biased cnn... read a fucking history book.

history repeats itself. there was once a dictator who killed 6 million of his citizens, 25 million russian citizens, and set off WWII. his name is hitler and he rose to power after we destroyed germany in WWI. if we had stayed there to re-build their nation, or at least assist in it, he never would have risen to power and WWII would have been avoided. along with the slaughter of near 30 million people.

saddam hussein invaded all kinds of countries, MASSACRED 500,000 of his own citizens (the kurds) with VX nerve gas. now, you liberals say he didnt have any weapons of mass destruction.. well what the fuck do you call VX nerve gas!?!?! he threatened to use it, among other weapons, against the US completley unprovoked. now we gave him a 6 month "heads up" that we were comming in search of these weapons, so is it any suprise that we didnt find them? no... we have satellite footage of mass amounts of weapons being trucked to syria. i digress... we went into that country to get that dictator out of power (like we did with hitler) and if we do not stay and help rebuild the nations government, someone just as bad, if not worse, will rise into power (just like north korea, just like stalin, just like HITLER). do you really think we should leave iraq? why? so we can go back in 4 years when an even more radical dictator gets a nuclear weapon and threatens us with it? of course we will take the oil... imagine a nation without oil. imagine your everyday life without gasoline?!?!?! tell me you dont want gasoline. tellme our nation can survive without it. like i said before, we think about the well being of our nation FIRST, otherwise we will not survive. especially if we let radical leaders amass armies and weapons stockpiles of world conquest proportions.

i cant wait to hear your rebutle...
