Bartender beaten to death a block from my work over 1 beer, and todays sweet justice.

Ok first off, when you knock someone unconscious, you win the fight. To keep kicking a downed body is just fucked up. And two, this is a total rant, so if ya dont feel like reading the whole thing, peace. Anyways..

An offduty bartender was chillin at work and ordered a beer after last call. When he received it, a girl started giving him shit because she had ordered one and not received it. He graciously got her another -after last call mind you- in a gesture of goodwill. Well she goes off and rants to her boyfriend and his friends who then proceed back to the bar and beat this man to death when he left. No pipes, crowbars, knives or guns, just fisting and kicking a man until he is no longer able to live. He wasnt even a big guy either, he was a childrens soccer coach and a passive dude. Now beyond this, a guy trying to break up the fight was also hospitalized by these assholes because of how many skull fractures he received trying to seperate everyone, and he now needs reconstructive surgery just to put him back together. On to the justice section..

I cant tell you how many people were relieved with todays paper. Initially, only the boyfriend was charged with muder; everyone else including his girlfriend who started the whole thing were not charged..
In todays paper came the relief that most of the campus felt. Charges on the boyfriend were increased to 7 felonies including two 1st degree murder charges (one for the bartender and one for the near-death good samaritan), and the girlfriend and 2 other guys who helped kill this man were all given 4 felony charges each. Sweet. Justice. Not that jailing someone for a lifetime makes it ok that he's dead, but hell, its better than nothing. Especially for that stupid bitch who had the balls to spout shit off to her boyfriend and getting him riled up. If she had said "He accidentally grabbed what I thought was my drink and then bought me one," things would have been different, but no; the drunken bitch had to have an attitude. Nothing against women ofcoarse, but a whiney person who gets someone killed deserves punishment, man or woman, and she was initially let off. Eh, everyone just thought that it was bullshit when only the main aggressor got charged and the rest were all good. Anyways, if ya made it this far, thanks. I hope all those people get a long, long time behind bars to think about what they did.
